Meeting an Urgent Need
Gweru, with a population of over 160,000 and an annual growth rate of 2.2%, is Zimbabwe's fifth-largest city. Despite having 22 high schools, the city faces an acute shortage of secondary school places.
Many schools are overcrowded—hosting more than 70 students per classroom—and lack essential resources. Some students travel several hours daily and spend a lot of money on transport to find space in distant schools.

A Vision Realized
In response to this urgent educational need, the late Reverend Noah Sibanda envisioned a new Christian secondary school in the Ascot community.
Land Purchase
Using allocations from the Church of the Nazarene Alabaster Fund, land was secured for the project.
Partnership
Noah's FARM partnered by funding infrastructure including fencing, borehole drilling, and solar installation.
First Building
Construction of the first classroom block with five classrooms, accommodating up to 120 students.
